Never give up on someone you can’t go a day without thinking about
Legend of the Guardians 2010
It’s an animated movie about owls. Just owls. OWLS. What story can you make up about owls? Seriously!
Well… as pesimistic as I was about this movie, I gotta say it was a pretty good one.
Firts of all, the story:
I never knew there is a fantasy book series about owls. But I gotta say, after watching this movie it must be really good. It’s kind of a bed-time story for kids. That means it has all the predictable stuff. Like:
-good v.s. evil
-rookie becomes a professional
-only last battle is a victory for good guys
-kids without parents goes on an advanture
-main character makes no mistakes and saves the day
-and so on…
But as much it was a predictable and childish, I enjoyed it. There was only one thing they overreacted and ruined in a movie. Soren’s brother. He went from good to evil too fast for no reason. And nothing and noone could change his evil mind. He was a bad guy to the end.
